In order to comprehensively coordinate the implementation of bio-industry development plan of Guangzhou, leading enterprises in the bio-industry of Guangzhou including XPH, SALIAI Stemcell, King Med Diagnostics and Daan Gene jointly initiated and established Guangzhou Federation of Bio-Industry in August 2017 thanks to the support and guidance of municipal government of Guangzhou. The Federation sticks to government as guidance, enterprises as subjects, market demands as orientation and capital as support. The federation adopts an innovative cooperation model combining “government, industry, university, research and finance”, and guides and centralizes innovative resources of enterprises, scientific research institutions, institutions of higher education, industry organizations, medical institutions and investment and financing organizations in the upper and lower reaches of bio-industry of Guangzhou. It is an international, professional, academic and application-oriented non-profiting service-oriented consortium platform. 

The Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association-USA (CBA) ( is one of the largest Chinese American professional associations in the US. Founded in 1995 by a group of Chinese-American biopharmaceutical professionals, CBA is an independent, non-political, and non-profit professional organization headquartered in the Washington DC area.  The membership now comprises more than 3,000 biopharma-related professionals from industry, academia, and government. Over 80 percent of the members hold Ph.D., M.D. and/or J.D. degrees. CBA also has over one hundred Institutional Members.

The mission of CBA is to promote communication and collaboration among biopharmaceutical professionals and to promote technology transfer and business collaborations among different countries and regions, especially between the United States, China.

Every year, CBA organizes and co-organizes a number of specially designed workshops, seminars, meetings, and networking gatherings to meet its members’ career advancement needs. As CBA’s most influential event, CBA’s annual conference attracts hundreds of attendees each year including many internationally renowned research scientists, business leaders, and high-ranking US and Chinese government officials. 

Beijing 4P Wellness Institute(B4PWI) is a non-profit organization co-founded by Nanopep Corporation and Radix Healthcare Technology Corporation and supported by China Health Promotion Foundation (CHPF) and Dr. Leroy Hood, the founder of systems biology and P4 medicine. The mission of the organization is to bring P4 Medicine - Predictive, Preventive, Personalized and Participatory - to the Chinese society, and the world leading technology to the Wellness Science industry in China. 
Partnering with Dr. Hood’s Institute of Systems Biology and Chinese Academy of Science, B4PWI has initiated a P4 pilot project on 100,000 well individuals that will transformChinese healthcare.
B4PWI is also a member of the World P4 Medicine Alliance. It is now working with US P4 Medicine Institute and CHPF to provide Chinese physicians and/ or other care-giverswith P4 Health Training and Education.

Covering an area of 1.83 sq. km. and located in the geographic center of Guangzhou, Guangzhou International Biotech Island is the core carrier of National Biological Industry Base of Guangzhou (consisting of the Biotech Island and Science City under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou Development District) approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. It was listed in the Outline for Reform and Development Planning of Pearl River Delta Region in 2008, becoming a national strategic project and provincial core construction project. As approved by the Guangzhou municipal government, the Administrative Committee of Guangzhou Development District is the competent authority of the park and the park is included as an important platform for strategic development of “Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Guangzhou Science City and Guangzhou International Biotech Island" of Guangzhou Development District. Guangzhou International Biotech Island Investment & Development Co.,Ltd was founded in 2010 with its main responsibilities lying in the investment, development and operation management and investment promotion for the Biotech Island. On July 8, 2011, an opening ceremony was held for Guangzhou International Biotech Island and the first batch of biotechnology enterprises signed in. There have been more than 150 biotechnology enterprises signed in so far. 

Founded in 1991, China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) is a non-profit social organization with corporative qualification. As a national medical devices industry association, CAMDI is established on a voluntary basis by organizations and individuals engaged in the research and development, production, operation, investment, product testing, certification and consultation, and training in relation to medical devices.
The purpose of CAMDI is to represent and safeguard the common interests and legitimate rights of its members, and to promote the healthy development of China’s medical devices industry. CAMDI abides by the State’s constitution, laws, regulations and policies, observes social ethnics, and receives guidance and supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, which is the competent authority of the association, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, which is the authority for the registration and administration of social organizations.
